1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all notary, commissioning, document certification, and related services (“Services”) provided by BRAVO NOTARY SERVICES (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By booking an appointment, submitting documents, or receiving our Services, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms apply to:

  • In-person notarization

  • Remote/online commissioning (Ontario-compliant)

  • Mobile/onsite notary services

  • Document witnessing and certification

  • Business and corporate notarization

We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or paralegal services.


2. Scope of Services

We perform notarial acts as permitted under Ontario law, including:

  • Administering oaths and affirmations

  • Witnessing signatures

  • Commissioning affidavits and statutory declarations

  • Certifying copies of original documents

  • Verifying identity for document execution

We do not draft documents, advise on legal sufficiency, or guarantee that a third party will accept your notarized document.


3. Client Responsibilities

Clients must:

  • Present valid, government-issued photo identification

  • Bring documents completed but unsigned

  • Provide accurate and truthful information

  • Confirm that notarization is appropriate for their needs

  • Ensure the receiving organization will accept the notarized document (including electronic signatures for remote commissioning)

We reserve the right to refuse service when identification or document legitimacy cannot be verified.


4. Fees & Payment

  • Standard notarization fees are posted on our website and may vary depending on the service type.

  • Discounts apply for multiple documents for individuals (not applicable to businesses).

  • Mobile notary services require additional travel fees based on distance.

  • Remote commissioning requires full prepayment.

  • All fees are due before or at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.


5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Show

Key points:

  • More than 24 hours’ notice: no fee

  • Within 24 hours: a $25 cancellation fee applies

  • Within 12 hours or no-show: the full fee will be charged

  • Late arrivals: appointments may need to be rescheduled

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled according to our Refund Policy.

  • No refunds after the client has signed the document

  • Notary/Commissioner errors are eligible for correction or refund

  • Client document errors are not refundable

  • Printing/courier/material fees are non-refundable

7. Privacy & Data Protection

We protect personal information in accordance with Ontario and Canadian privacy laws.

Information may be collected for:

  • Identity verification

  • Performing notarial acts

  • Recordkeeping obligations

We do not sell or share personal information except where legally required.

Recording of Remote Sessions:

For notarial and legal compliance purposes, remote commissioning sessions conducted via video conference may be recorded. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and consent to such recording. These recordings will be stored securely and used only as required by law or professional obligations.

8. Identification Requirements

All clients must provide valid photo identification.
For remote commissioning, clients must have:

  • Camera-enabled device

  • Stable internet connection

  • The ability to show ID clearly on video

We may decline service if identity cannot be verified.


9. Limitations of Service

We cannot notarize:

  • Blank or incomplete documents

  • Documents requiring legal advice

  • Documents related to fraud, coercion, or misrepresentation

  • Documents outside Ontario jurisdiction

  • Documents where the signer appears unwilling or unable to provide informed consent


10. Liability

BRAVO NOTARY SERVICES is not responsible for:

  • Errors in client-provided documents

  • Rejection of documents by third parties

  • Consequences arising from the legal content of documents

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service provided.


11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the laws of Canada.


12. Amendments

We may update these Terms at any time. Updated versions will be posted on our website.
